Casa Sonia Great location. Quiet area. Easy access

Stylish stay right outside of Obidos Positive: Excellent location, parking right in front and a 5-min walk from the old town. Nice attention to detail in the bedrooms, a great stay! Negative: Nothing, everything went smoothly

We had a great stay in this comfortable apartment steps away from the castle. Positive: The beds were incredibly comfortable and it was so close to the castle and Main Street! The whole apartment felt like home. Negative: Nothing!

Hairs; dirty bathroom areas; mildew smell; stained linens NO HEAT; NO HOT WATER, weak wifi; more.. Positive: The location, parking and size of home are positive. Obidos, the town, is amazing. However, we were forced to leave early and find alternate lodging due to the negative aspects described in this review. This property needs much attention and it seemed to us that the owners, living in another country, did not care. Negative: NO functioning heat. Neither of the heat sources worked - in January. No consistently functioning hot water. Owners live in UK and had limited knowledge of system - "unplug it and replug” was their only advice. That worked until it didn’t and had to be done mid-shower. Nearly every piece of linen was stained, old stained pillows, a bug inside the bedclothes - only one, but a bug! Off site owners told us “we are new to this” and were not quickly or adequately responsive to heat/hot water issues. Unless these systems are repaired, things replaced, kitchen mildew smell in cabinets addressed, cleaning staff corrected, we do not recommend.
